Popular Japanese Illustrator and Character Designer, Renji “Range” Murata, has posted his Throw Line dojinshi in digital form on Apple’s iTunes store. Those with iPhones or an iPod Touch can now download Throw Line for US$1.99.
The 25-page magazine of illustrations and sketches is available in the United States and in Japan. 12 of the pages are in color, and the remaining 13 pages are in black-and-white. Murata’s dōjin circle, Pasta’s Estab, had originally published the magazine at Tokyo’s Comic Market 72 convention in 2007. Murata turned to the companies ComicStream and realglobe Inc. to adapt his work for the App Store.
