If you’ve recently been living under a rock, then you must have probably missed the news that Season 2 of Attack on Titan started last April 1, 2017.
[WARNING: May contain some SPOILERS!]
After probably an eternity of waiting, fans of this series has finally gotten what they deserve… and that’s another awesome season of Attack on Titan and a continuation to the cliff-hanger ending of Season 1.
The live-action Attack on Titan movie didn’t really whet fans’ appetite for the real thing and it was just a misguided attempt by producers to cash in on a fan-favorite anime. So enough of that and let’s get on with the review, shall we?
As of this writing, I have only watched the first 3 episodes of Attack on Titan Season 2 and it doesn’t disappoint. Especially the first episode, where we get to see the aftermath of Eren and Annie’s battle…AND we get to see a new TITAN!
Let’s just say that this first episode really sets the tone for the rest of the season and will remind you that Attack on Titan is at it’s heart a horror anime mixed in with a lot of different anime genres such as action, adventure and a little bit of romance.
And like the best AoT episodes, the ending for Episode 1 will shock you as well as make you craving for the next episodes.
But sadly, the next 2 episodes doesn’t give us as much of an eye-opener as the first episode but what those episodes will give are more questions on top of all the other questions that we already have about AoT.
Like all the best anime out there, AoT will give you more reasons to keep on watching this series just to answer all the lingering questions you have ever since Season 1.
So, here’s hoping for an awesome season ahead for Attack on Titan.
Oh, and that Ending Theme Song is just CREEPY as HELL!!
