Count on me to always be late for an event. Gomen! ^^;
The J-Pop Anime Singing Competition at Market! Market! last Saturday, July 25, started at 2pm but I came at around 4pm already, which meant that I missed all the contestants’ performances. T___T
Being late all the time probably means I’ll never make it in Japan, since the Japanese consider punctuality very important.
Anyway, its a good thing that I was still able to catch Sitti‘s performance during the intermission. ^_^
While I was still waiting for the announcement of the winners, I took some pics of the toys and figures on display near the stage area.
I don’t think they’re selling any of these toys at the event and most of these aren’t sold here by the local toy stores.
Ok, now for the announcement of the winners.
Some of the contestants anxiously waiting for the announcement.
And the 1st place winners are…
Ok, sorry I was busy taking pics so I didn’t catch the name of the band. Gomenasai!
Anyone knows what the name of their band is?
The lead vocalist (I think) acknowledging their fans.
She looks really happy, doesn’t she?
I like her Flying V. 😀
Winning 1st place really gives you instant stardom. 😉
And now back to the toys!
Its a good thing the organizers displayed some cool 70’s giant robot toys.
Very nostalgic. Reminds me of my youth. Oops! 😯 I think I’m giving away my age. 😆
These Dragonball figures look much better than the ones being sold by some local toy stores. I think most of the local ones are bootleg anyway.
I hope the Voltron live-action movie will be as good as the Transformers live-action movies. *cross fingers* 🙄
