In what is possibly the most expensive Mazinger Z toy to date, Bandai has just released this Urban Material Chogokin Mazinger Z to mark the 35th anniversary of Bandai‘s Chogokin line of toys.

The price? A whooping 2 Million Yen or roughly Php 988,000.00 (using the present exchange rate). That’s enough to buy a spiffy new Honda Civic. @_@

Judging from the pics, it looks like this Mazinger Z is made from racing car parts, like Carbon Fiber and Titanium. But still, with that amount of moolah, I think I’ll buy a new car instead.
