Pinoy A*KO 09 Cosplay Pics Part 1
As usual, I’ll be posting the Cosplay pics per batch ‘cos there’s just way too many pics for just one post. =p
Arrived at PUP (Polytechnic University of the Philippines) for the Pinoy A*KO convention just in time for the Cosplay Catwalk event.
Ranka Lee from Macross Frontier. I don’t think she was a contestant as she didn’t participate in the Cosplay Catwalk.
Too bad though ‘cos I think she really looked the part.

I heard that he had surgery just to extend his tongue for this event. Geez! What some cosplayers will do nowadays in order to win. 
But I guess having a long tongue must have its advantages.
He must be very popular with the ladies.

That’s why in the real world, your ninja skillz ain’t worth sh*t against guns!
Now, if only we can have The Punisher match up against Bumblebee. My bet’s on Bumblebee to crush this pathetic human.

tnx Gordon! I’ve watched the whole series of Fate/Stay Night but couldn’t remember Ilya. Is she the one that had Hercules?
just a question, how come you have an anime site and even attend cosplay events,
and you don’t even know your Anime Characters??

I purposely don’t write all the characters each cosplayer cosplays ‘cos the pics is just too many. I spend a LOT of time already taking pics, editing, uploading and then posting it here for others such as yourself to enjoy, so I no longer have time to research each and every character that the cosplayer cosplays.
as for anime characters I know, I’ve watched a ton of anime from 70′s anime such as Voltes V, Mazinger Z, Jeeg, Danguard Ace, etc. to recent fare such as Bleach, Soul Eater, Toradora, Rideback, etc. Can I name all the characters from all those years of watching anime? Of course I can’t. but if anyone can, then I applaud them wholeheartedly! ^^

well, to be honest, i think it’s fair for the cosplayers if they were named (real name and the character they were playing.)

tnx for the comments. I’ll try to post the names of those cosplayers that I know next time but getting the names of 100+ cosplayers (Ozine fest had 200+ cosplayers on the catwalk, not including those who were just costripping) will be next to impossible though.
