Been a while since I posted a figure photoshoot post… GOMEN! m(_ _)m
Anyway, I’ve finished building this kit weeks ago, but had a hard time taking good pics, so I wasn’t able to do this post sooner. ^^;
Really love the design of this Gundam. ^^ Among the original Gundam 00 models, this is my favorite since it can transform into jet-mode. LOL :p
Like my Gundam Astray Red Frame, I veered away from the original white color since I think the white is just too clean looking. Also, I don’t have an air-brush for proper weathering so I thought I should use a dark color to make it look dirty.
Didn’t want to use black again for all the white parts since I already did that with the Red Frame, so I used Dark Gray instead. ^^;
Turned out OK, I guess. Whatchathink? ^^
Posted more pics (44) than my usual toy/figure posts since I decided to post all pics for this post on Flickr. No more worries about having too much stuff on my server. ^^
Didn’t paint some of the yellow and red stuff like the ones on the helmet since it’s not noticeable anyway.
Also, ‘cos I ran out of yellow and red paint. =p
Tried to do some weathering using the Gundam Weathering marker set but didn’t turn out as what I expected.
Learned from some site that you have to use a dry brush technique to do it properly, which I botched up real good. 
Oh, well! Lesson learned.
Gundam Kyrios’ Beam Sabers, which he rarely uses in the anime.
Kyrios is more like the stealth bomber of Celestial Being and is accustomed more to dogfights in Jet-mode rather than close-quarters combat in Gundam mode.
Kyrios’ shield which transforms into some sort of pincher.
I’m hoping my next Gundam figure post will be another transformable Gundam. Heheh! ^^

wow, ur kyrios looks very nice. Just wanna noe wad methods/techniques did u use to make kyrios into this ? I also dun hav an airbrush and i dun intend to have 1 either.

just using Tamiya spray paint cans and I don’t have an airbrush either. heheh! ^^

i love how you make you own color scheme..
one question though..
about the dark grey..did you use mr. color, gundam, or tamiya?
