Tachikoma (Full Metal Version)
1:24 Scale Action Figure
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex

Here’s the packaging that came with the figure.
This is the base (sort of). Well, its not really a base you can display your Tachikoma on ‘cos its just cardboard, but you can still use it since it has a cool design.
And here’s Tachikoma.
Tachikoma climbing a pipe.
Whew! He made it.
I wonder who made Tachikoma climb that pipe.
Hmmm… Ishikawa is still alive.
Replaced the middle cannon with the gatling gun accessory.
You can pull Tachikoma’s backside away from the main body…
… and turn it. You can even turn it 360 degrees.
Now this is what I don’t like about this Tachikoma… the “wheels”. At first, I thought there were gonna be wheels on this thing and you could roll it around. But as it turns out, the wheels are part of the legs and is built as one piece.
Another thing which I don’t like is that the joints are too “soft”, meaning that sometimes the figure just falls on its belly ‘cos the legs just slide out underneath the whole body’s weight. This figure isn’t even heavy (its made from PVC), so you can just imagine trying to pose it one way and then the legs will just give way. >_<
Also, the paint scrapes easily. When I interchanged the cannon for the gatling gun accessory, look what happened:
So, if you’re gonna buy a Tachikoma, buy the Good Smile version instead since the backside can be opened and it has an action figure of Motoko Kusanagi. ^^
But if you can’t find that version and can only buy this instead, just don’t play with it too much as you might break or destroy some of its parts.
Overall, I’d rate this a good buy if you really want a Tachikoma and you can no longer get the Good Smile version. ^^
